Job Description
The Manager, Segment Operations supervises and drives the development of a high-performance work team focused on fulfillment of Commercial Segment initiative deliverables. The Manager establishes a culture of continuous improvement in process flow resulting in lower cost to serve and reducing average processing time. They support relationships and processes across BBNA and Brand functional departments. The Manager, Segment Operations ensures project management and design services meet or exceed initiative objectives and customer expectations throughout the life of initiative projects and continuously evaluates for improvement. The Manager works closely to evaluate and develop future segment initiatives as well as collaborates to communicate and share learnings across segments and brands
- Continuously evaluate initiative process flow from order to delivery for continuous improvement
- Staff, manage, and develop team of service and design direct reports
- Manage and maintain backlog order management data for monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Contribute to development of new segment initiatives
- Problem solve field issues, resolve claims and manage change orders
- Perform project reviews and attend backlog and claims meetings
- Perform business audits to ensure accuracy of order entry and fully understand scope of work
- Establish and monitor milestone dates and communicate schedule to customers
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associate or 2-year technical degree
- 6 years of relevant work experience
- 3 years’ experience in the structural steel building industry or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor degree in a related field
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 4+ years PEMB experience
- Experience in a leadership role
