We believe that through payments and embedded fintech, every vertical SaaS platform can achieve 5x revenue. Doing so has historically been a long, complicated, and expensive process. After scaling and successfully exiting multiple vertical SaaS businesses, we set out to help platforms dominate their corner of the internet. As a fully venture-backed payments technology company based in St. Paul, Minnesota, JustiFi is building a platform to process payments and unlock embedded fintech products for vertical SaaS platforms.
JustiFi is growing, and we are adding a Manager of Strategic Partnerships to our sales team. As a Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will prospect into our valued strategic partners, including venture capital and private equity funds. Your finesse in getting the buy-in of multiple institutional investment stakeholders will be valuable in this role. Your polished presentation style will be welcomed. Your ability to understand the unique challenges institutional investors face, explain how JustiFi can help, recommend a path forward and present solutions that solve institutional investors’ challenges will create success for you. What you will do in the Manager of Strategic Partnerships role:

  • Leverage past experiences and relationships to introduce and sell JustiFi to investors in Vertical Saas Platforms such as Venture Companies or Private Equity Firms.
  • Deliver JustiFi’s messaging and manage investor relationships to gain introductions to their portfolio companies.
  • Create a plan to manage the sales process from target to delivering leads.
  • Develop and implement an annual business plan to support quota attainment. To be updated on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Execute account penetration strategies for key partnerships. 
  • Provide communication of current market intelligence to the business.
  • Prospect for new partnerships.
  • Achieve annual and quarterly goals of generating leads.
  • Immerse yourself in the fintech industry maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Identify customers’ investment strategies and portfolio companies to position JustiFi’s offerings.
  • Develop and maintain consultative relationships with all key-buying influences in each partnership. This will consist of multiple levels within the partner’s organization, including managing partners and, most often, within the research and investment groups.
  • Consistently deliver solutions that both the investor partners and JustiFi highly value.
  • Create and deliver Partnership presentations, generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan Partnership meetings, and collaborate internally with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Engineering.
  • Ability to travel to investor partner sites and attend industry trade shows as needed.
     

Experience and qualities for success in the Manager of Strategic Partnerships role:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within Venture Companies or Private Equity Firms.
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the Vertical SaaS Platform space.
  • Knowledgeable about the fintech/payment processing space is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating a multi-level sales process with multiple stakeholders.
  • Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter that still thrives in a team environment.
