What's The Job?

We are searching for a Manager of Systems Automation Sales to join our York, PA teamwho would be a leader and direct manager in our Systems Automation Sales Group. The Manager of Systems Automation Sales is responsible for managing sales activities is responsible for coaching the Systems Automation team and supporting the Sales Account Management team as they pursue new and existing clients for storage automation solutions. The position is responsible for increasing sales and profitability of large integrated solutions and engineered systems. Develop and implement strategic sales plans, which include but not limited to Rack, Conveyor, Automated Storage Systems, autonomous vehicles associated storage products.

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

  • Manage and mentor a team with a goal of winning business, increasing profitability, and driving high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzes application requirements and recommends possible solutions and/or alternative designs and layouts.
  • Exhibits a clear understanding of the operation of material handling systems including controls and warehouse execution software and engineered systems.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope from design, quote to installation and final customer acceptance.
  • Direct oversight in leading and negotiating customer commercial agreements.
  • Work with the Director of Systems Automation on strategic initiatives and process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and train sales team as it relates to rack, storage, automation and other products.
  • Ensure project documents, both internal and external along with contracts are completed and signed to minimize our exposure and risk on projects.

What Makes Me Qualified?

  • MBA or MS preferred with an undergraduate degree in Engineering OR Bachelor's degree with a focus on engineering or relevant field experience.
  • Previous experience may be substituted for formal training.
  • Experience in selling large integrated material handling solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience with material handling systems integration software preferred.
  • Computer design skills required, AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
