In the intermediate term, you will be establishing the foundations and playbook for Florence to achieve the operational maturity needed at scale.

This role offers high levels of interaction and partnership with the leadership team and opportunities to challenge how things are done. Florence is a well-positioned company with top tier investor backing, in an exciting industry (intersection of SaaS and clinical trials) at an inflection point.

You will help with the following areas:

  • Identify misalignments, pain-points, and processes lacking best practices to suggest and lead transformation initiatives with the goal of creating a scalable organization / operating model.

M&A Integration

  • Lead the post-close integration of Florence’s new acquisitions (people, processes, systems, contracts) driving accountability across departments and helping us hit accretion goals.
  • Build the machinery needed to better enable future acquisition integrations and assimilation motions , such as the M&A integration playbook, functional awareness to integrations, etc.

Program Management – Operational Maturity

  • Support gathering program buy-in and create the momentum needed to successfully achieve the transformation and integration goals.
  • Build and roll-out the minimum best practice in program governance, program reporting, change management, and others.

The candidate must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in transformation & post-merger integrations obtained totally or partially in management consulting; with engagements of 3-12 months, including both strategy & execution (you will need both).
  • Exposure to a variety of engagements including cost reduction, vendor rationalization, org. design, M&A separations & integrations, target operating model design, transformation office set-up.
  • Knowledge of best practice program management, project management, and change management, acquired through certification or consulting experience.
  • Excellent communications, with experience assessing and harmonizing cross-departmental stakeholders, developing a roadmap, managing executive expectations, and reporting on program progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Experience creating momentum, maintaining cadence, establishing project governance, identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, staying on top of things and people, enabling successful transformations.
  • Ability to understand and build a business case for a new program: explain and size the problem, demonstrate potential solutions, measure benefits/costs, build a program around it, gather buy-in.
  • Thrive in uncertainty: willing to work with functions you haven’t yet worked with, being able to go from a 1,000 feet overview into the details, harmonizing stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree

The ideal candidate would also have:

What’s in it for you?
