Manager, Off Premises Analytics
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Utilize advanced analytics to identify trends and insights that support strategic growth initiatives for each brand's off-premise business.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and operational metrics to proactively surface potential issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage a suite of reports and dashboards to help stakeholders understand effectiveness of operational initiatives and marketing ads and promotions.
- Understand the various data points available and working with Delivery Service Providers and internal cross-functional teams to integrate data into analytical tools and systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key findings and recommending actionable strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and methodologies to continuously improve the delivery analytics practice.
Job Summary
The Manager, Off-Premises Analytics position is the analytics expert for all things delivery across GoTo Food's 7 iconic restaurant brands. The ideal candidate has a passion for data - they're excited by the challenge of tracking down new data sources, understanding it, and using it to uncover meaningful insights. They excel at sharing the story behind the data - from building presentations that are understood by various audience levels to developing on-demand dashboards that provide KPIs and actual insights to various stakeholders throughout the organization. This position will be a key member of the Off-Premises department and actively involved in initiatives that increase delivery sales and profitability.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Math, Statistics or other related discipline
- Preferred: Master's degree/MBA
Work Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably within the restaurant or retail industry
Skills & Abilities
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel competency (such as macros, pivot tables and lookups)
- Advanced skills with database queries or programming languages (such as SQL)
- Experience building dashboards with data visualization tools (such as Microsoft Power BI)
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to complete large projects
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, ability to recognize patterns and anomalies from large data sets, and a desire to seek and analyze information to provide insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in summarizing complex information and adapting message to different audiences
- Ability to multi-task, manage tight deadlines, handle competing priorities, and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to learn new software and/or web-based tools quickly
