Job Overview

Job Title: Senior Manager Operations

Job Description: Responsible for all manufacturing and engineering operations and teams within injection molding and mechatronics assembly value stream. Responsible and accountable for all KPIs for assigned value stream - to include safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Accountable to key customers that buy manufactured parts from assigned value stream. Partner closely with key internal stakeholders, such as sales, materials, planning and finance. Day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the Headers value stream. Manage manufacturing and engineering areas focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into manufacturing strategies and processes. Coordinate plant activities with department and value stream leaders to ensure that business unit objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure all migration activities supporting production line transfers and facility stand up according to plan and within budget. Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance by implementing preventative and corrective measures to ensure the occupational health and safety of employees, as well as compliance with necessary regulations; actively seek potential risks to proactively mitigate; make the necessary recording and reporting of incidences. Create a culture of transformation and continuous improvement through TEOA and the use of lean tools to drive operational excellence with production efficiencies, lean processes, and margins improvements. Develop and maintain programs and policies to ensure a highly effective and motivated workforce; evaluate training needs and develop training and development plans to support high-performance teams.

What your background should look like:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

Special Requirements: Requires 5 years of experience with the following:

1) Continuous improvement methodologies.

2) Advanced manufacturing processes.

3) Cross-functional project management.

4) Production forecasting.

5) Leading multi-disciplined teams (including engineering and operations).
