Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Manager, Operations Engineering for our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. The Manager, Operations Enviormental, Health, and Safefty (EHS) will play a key role in driving success across the organization from anEnvironmental, Safety & Compliance (ES&C) perspective.The Environmental, Safety & Compliance (ES&C) group is responsible for the environmental footprint, health and safety of the Cleveland Operations. This position requires a leader who can manage direct reports and work effectively with many stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization to drive improvements in our safety, environment and health.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cleveland Operations in executing projects, programs, and processes designed to continually improve the environmental footprint, reduce injuries and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach and mentor the Environmental Safety & Compliance group. Ensure proper staffing, PTO reviews, and conduct performance reviews.
• Responsible for the continued certification and compliance with the Cleveland Operations ISO 14001 and 45001management systems.
• Work with and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies including OSHA, BWC, EPA, etc
• Work cross functionally with the Medical department on investigating and classifying injuries.
• Partnerwith project engineers to identify and solve EHS and compliance issues prior to equipment installation.
• Provide support tothe EHS department as new regulations are introduced to interpret the regulations and implement the means to bring the Cleveland Operations to compliance.
• Communication and education of new EHS and Agency requirements to the Cleveland Operations.
• Manage the Emergency Response Supervisor and oversee the emergency response program, and lead theWELD and Safety Committee safety programs.
• Lead workplace safety programs including; PPE selection, safety training, JHA's, EHS walks, New Hire Orientation, contractor safety, etc.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required with m inimum of 5 years' of professional experience.
• Strong desire to take ownership and drive results.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001, EPA, NEC and OSHA standards is a plus.
• Motivated to make a difference by improving Safety and the Environmental footprint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and capable to work with little supervision.
