The RoleÂ
The Manager, Order to Cash will lead the team of sales coordinators to efficiently process and deliver wholesale orders while helping to ensure that customers pay within terms. This role supports the sales teams' ordering process and serves as the point person for other parts of the business. You also help drive the development of the wholesale operation's sales transaction processes and create scalable solutions that can cross all markets.Â
This is a hybrid position and requires onsite work at our Chicago HQ office 1-2 days per week.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ- Lead and manage a team of sales coordinators across multiple markets to ensure the highest level of efficiency and customer service for our wholesale businessÂ
- Manage wholesale order processing and invoicing process, identifying and implementing improvements to scale as neededÂ
- Establish and implement payment terms in each state that fit the needs of customers while ensuring GTI’s financial terms are met on-timeÂ
- Work with order fulfillment and CPG teams to create process improvements, while managing expectations with customers, communicating issues to customers and sales directors appropriatelyÂ
- Anticipate and determine the needs of the sales team related to the order and fulfillment processes and communicate those needs to other parts of business, including IT, and fulfillment
- Create standard operating procedures to help streamline the sales coordinators’ processes
- Support the sales team in ad-hoc data requests, projects, and initiativesÂ
- Support the sales team by creating the weekly menu of products available for sale in their region
- Manage wholesale data and reporting to sales teams, as well as support reporting needs across rest of business, including marketing, production, supply chain, executive teams. At times this may require reconciling discrepancies.
- Continuously improve the skills, knowledge, and morale of employeesÂ
- Understand the customer buying process and how it relates to the sales process, and look for possible process improvements

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, and ability to demonstrate understanding of CRM and accounting tools used by sales coordinators Â
- Experience conducting sales analysis and interpreting data to make actionable recommendationsÂ
- Strong leader capable of mentoring and developing staffÂ
- Highly motivated, extremely positive attitude, self-starter with a solid work ethic, very organized and an effective communicator Â
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think and act fast while delivering a high level of customer service Â
- A team player and ability to work effectively with customers, wholesale customers, and other members of the team Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study
