As the Manager, Operational and Financial (OF&A) on our Order to Cash team, you will work with Order to Cash (OTC) leads to continuously improve cash forecasting, operational performance and close processes. You'll utilize KPIs to ensure the success of initiatives related to operational performance, forecasting accuracy and cost savings initiatives. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Develop and implement central analytical and forecasting support for division leads
- Develop and drive continuous improvement for cash collections and related OTC forecasting needs
- Consolidate and research financial and operational data to identify customer payment and cash collection trends; assemble and summarize data to effectively communicate findings to leadership
- Automate calculation and distribution of weekly metrics
- Design and deliver standard reporting and analytical tools to support division leads, operations and executive management using a variety of software, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and other financial planning software
- Lead and generate the financial and budget impact assessments for continuous improvement projects; track progress against stated estimates
- Interpret large volumes of operational data; report on forecast accuracy
- Create templates and deliverables for operational and financial KPIs; identify methods to monitor performance against original assumptions, develop detective controls and predictive indicators
- Oversee the credit review and management process for new and existing customers
- Oversee financial close and reporting activities
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of experience in a financial role
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), HFM, financial planning software, Microsoft BI and related technologies
- Experience with large databases with the ability to utilize data from various BI systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access)
- MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA or applicable professional designation
- Management experience
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma management concepts and/or certifications
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
