About The Position:
The Manager, Organization Change Management (OCM) is responsible for leading a team of organizational change experts driving change management and integration on enterprise-wide, high impact strategic initiatives. As part of Ameren's strategy, there is a tremendous focus on digitization, the customer, and optimization. As such, several organizational transformations and large-scale projects are taking place now and will continue into the future, which require a significant change management and integration focus. This role will be key in building and maintaining a change team that is able to develop and execute change strategies on targeted programs and/or transformations. The role will report to the Director, Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Development. Critical to success will be the ability to work across all levels of the organization and the development of effective working relationships with Ameren leadership, project teams, Communications, Leadership & Organization Effectiveness, Continuous Improvement and Human Resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team responsible for engaging on high-impact, strategic, capital projects and/or transformations at Ameren focused on the development and execution of change strategies that create faster adoption and reduce negative impacts.
- Develop a strategy to continue building organizational and leadership change capability including but not limited to formal training needs, a change community of practice, organizational tools, etc. Create a model to help educate and coach project team(s), sponsor(s), and functional leader(s) on change management philosophy, principles, tools and their roles in change.
- Oversee team of change resource execution including creating and executing change deliverables aligned with the change strategy - change plans, integration interventions, readiness assessments, adoption and effectiveness measurements, communication and training plans, etc.
- Engage with key business partners and stakeholders to determine success of OCM initiatives, areas of opportunity and areas of continued growth.
- Ensure short and long-term change resources are in place and appropriately skilled to lead change work, balancing demand and customer affordability.
- Partner with PMO and Sourcing teams to appropriately integrate OCM into the statement of work and project planning process to determine appropriate change resource needs.
- Serve in a change lead capacity for transformation work that requires coordination and integration across a number of key projects - consult with transformation teams and project leads in this capacity.
- Leverage change management expertise, benchmarking and industry best practices, along with Ameren's strategic priorities, to ensure Ameren's change practices and tools provide the needed support for successful and sustainable organizational change management. Put in place necessary change governance and integration to ensure consistency and alignment of organizational change management and project management.
- Partner closely with training teams and corporate communication to ensure appropriate resource structure to support critical change projects.
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate and advanced degree (MBA, HR, I/O Psychology, OD, or related discipline) are required.
- 7 or more years of relevant professional-level change management, organization development or business transformation experience required.
- 5 or more years of formal leadership experience or project leadership experience with the ability to lead and influence others across the organization required.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational issues.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of leadership and across matrixed teams
- Solid understanding of business concepts tied to strategy, with a pragmatic approach for applying those concepts to work plans.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects through advanced project management skills.
- Must possess an aptitude for understanding and leveraging technology.
- Ability rally teams.

Manager, Organization Change Management works a hybrid work schedule flexing time between home and office environment.
