West Monroe is seeking a Manager with current business / technology consulting experience to join our Organizational Change Management (OCM) team within our Operations Excellence practice. West Monroe’s Operations Excellence practice is focused on driving value from strategy through execution—not merely pointing to best practices and standards.  We enable clients to realize the enduring benefits of IT, business, process, and organizational optimization by delivering real, sustainable adoption.  Our solutions focus on value creation through the lenses of people, process, and technology across functional transformation and related platforms, productivity, and transformation enablement. Each consultant within our Operations Excellence practice is aligned to one of six focus areas including Financial Management, Organizational Change Management, Portfolio & Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Productivity, and IT Strategy & Business Process Outsourcing. 

 We are seeking a candidate with 6-10 years of project, program and enterprise change management experience. As a Manager on our change management team, you will serve our clients in several roles focusing on change management strategies, leadership engagement, communications, learning solutions, and organization alignment. In addition to client service delivery, you will be an integral part of our team that helps shape our practice culture through strategy, recruiting, team building, practice development, etc.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Work directly with clients to identify and document organizational impacts of change initiatives such as Vision/Value Definition, Communication, Leadership Engagement, Organization Alignment and Sustainability 
  • Leading stakeholder analysis efforts and change management strategy development 
  • Developing integrated approaches and plans alongside West Monroe industry and solution line teams 
  • Managing execution of change initiatives, client relationships and client-delivery teams 
  • Enable client-specific change management strategies through:
  • Developing comprehensive organizational change management strategies and plans 
  • Identifying change risks and developing mitigation strategies 
  • Leading the development and execution of communication strategies and plans 
  • Analyzing learning needs, developing learning approaches and curricula, and leading the development of in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning programs 
  • Conducting train-the-trainer sessions and classroom-based learning sessions 
  • Assessing the effectiveness of communication and learning 
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and engagement 
  • Assessing organization alignment for change and developing interventions to improve alignment 
  • Developing effective approaches for sustaining and fully realizing change goals following implementation 
  • Ensure the readiness of the client organization(s) for a variety of changes including new technology/processes, mergers/acquisitions, new organization strategy or other change efforts
  • Participate in and support the national team in development and enhancements to Change Management methodologies, tools, and other collateral
  • Collaborate with local office leadership to define how to align practice with office strategy and other practices
  • Lead the origination and development of business development proposals (including work plans and pricing estimates) and other sales efforts related to Organizational Change Management
  • Coach and manage other consultants and actively participate in the performance expectation/management process
  • Actively build a professional network and affiliate network in the local community
  • Actively participate in recruiting and retaining top quality consultants 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required 
  • Must have experience working with external clients in a team-based professional consulting capacity
  • 5 - 8 years’ experience providing change management solutions in support of large-scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives.
  • Experience in change management areas such as communications, learning and enablement, leadership engagement or change network management.
  • Must have experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in selling work to clients.
  • Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue, and risk management experience.
  • Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe Partners’ core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and/or High Tech & Software
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications and client relationship skills
  • Ability to travel.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
