Manager, Outbound Sales
Job Description
Picket is a venture-backed real estate innovation company. Built on proprietary technology and customer-first philosophy, our end-to-end SFR investment platform is transforming the experience of renting a home at every stage of the value chain - from the way investors find, buy, sell, and manage single-family rentals, to the quality, service, and flexibility residents enjoy when they live in them.
Picket is seeking a professional and polished driver of sales to both develop a roster of outbound sales contacts and actively solicit and nurture those leads to foster a pipeline of business for Picket's five platforms of service: Acquisitions, Dispositions, Property Management, Portfolio Optimization, and Saas.
B2B real estate sales experience is required for this role and no candidate without it will be considered.
Clients for these lines of business will come predominantly from the middle tier of investors, operating in the Sun Belt corridor of the United States, and owning from 10-100 SFR units. Qualified candidates will know how to access leads from this segment in a low-cost manner, ensure customer acquisition costs remain modest and manageable.
Expectations
- Source and document leads through the company's CRM, Hubspot.
- Conduct high-volume, daily outbound calls to leads.
- Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to understand and address their pain points.
- Qualify leads by gathering essential information and assessing interest level.
- Collaborate with Picket leadership to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients until the product demonstration phase.
- Schedule appointments and demos for Picket leadership with interested and qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Determine needs for sales collateral to help support the function, and collaborate internally to develop.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative discipline, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of lead generation techniques in this vertical and experience implementing them.
- Understanding of consultative selling approaches and ability to effectively demonstrate them consistently.
- Proficiency in consistently engaging in high-volume outbound dialing activities, with a primary emphasis on building and nurturing relationships through extensive telephone and electronic (email) interactions.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-oriented role and the resilience to handle adversity well.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in related sales technology tools, including Hubspot CRM software.
- Again, B2B real estate sales experience is an absolute requirement.
