Our Brooklyn office, situated inside a renovated industrial loft, is the marketing backbone of the company. We operate like a startup – flexibility and self accountability is in our DNA. Our team members have the opportunity to innovate and solve problems their way; but reinforced by the strength and resources of an established enterprise - thus this role will be hybrid and require in-office attendance Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Who we want:

The Marketing Strategy department seeks a great addition to our already amazing team. The role will contribute to our performance marketing efforts; the primary channel this role will be responsible for is Paid Search. You should be an independent thinker capable of challenging assumptions and being proactive in both management of and advocacy for your areas of responsibility.

This Paid Search Manager will be tasked with maximizing success of Morgan & Morgan’s direct response campaigns. This person will be in a highly visible role and asked to collaborate with—and advise— a variety of groups within the firm - including market managers, creative, operations, and web. Paid Search marketing will be your core focus, including adjacent ad products in the Google ecosystem and beyond (such as Performance Max, GDN, Bing and more). You will also have opportunities to develop your knowledge of other areas of digital including paid social and programmatic/display etc. You will receive training to tackle complex marketing, media, and technology challenges in an effort to help our business grow. A successful candidate will be someone who is naturally curious, passionate in pursuing excellence, humble enough to ask questions and capable of out of the box thinking + creative problem solving. 

This role will report into the Director of Search and will provide support to other teams including marketing managers, launching & optimizing various campaigns on their behalf. This role will also mentor a Paid Media Sr. Associate, who will both support and learn from the Search Manager.

You Possess: 

  • 4+ years of experience in paid search media marketing
  • Strong direct response experience (set up, tracking, execution, optimization, and reporting)
    • Driving conversions that complete offline / have multiple touchpoints
    • Optimizing against high value / variable ROAS conversions
  • Experience
    • Threading and analyzing data from multiple sources to reach conclusions
    • Working with external reps & vendors to maximize programs
  • Extremely high standards of excellence
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Basic financial acumen & understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to connect dots and foresee implications 
  • Project management skills to see projects to completion seamlessly
  • Ability to navigate in the gray

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (huge plus!)
  • Deep experience or knowledge of one or more non-Search digital channels
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Knowledge and ability to build own data reports 
  • Exposure to the legal industry or technology usage in law firms

Salary Range

$100,000—$125,000 USD
