Functional Description:

The New Member Acquisition team is a fast-paced organization and a significant driver of new Consumer Card Members into the American Express franchise. The team is dedicated to delivering best-in-class digital marketing and card acquisition experiences with the goal of growing new accounts and spend acquired. The Digital Demand Generation Team is dedicated to delivering best in class digital marketing and card shopping experiences through distribution partnerships and offsite marketing channels. Precision Marketing Analytics team within this organization creates central, scalable marketing solutions and analytical capabilities to accelerate growth in many core business areas including Digital Acquisitions.

This role will be responsible for developing analytical insights for the Paid Search channel that will help to drive efficient prospect acquisition at scale. This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to lead channel analytics for Paid Search with an emphasis on personalization tactics. It provides a chance to be at the forefront of data-driven precision marketing techniques in a highly collaborative environment that partners across Marketing, Capabilities, Technologies and vendors/partners to drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging digital data to strategize for best-in-class customer experiences and maximum value from acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with internal partners to create a channel test-and-learn agenda, optimize the program, and develop the performance narrative for the channel.
  • Monitoring investments in the form of partner bounty costs, and finding creative ways to optimize investments/drive efficiencies
  • Analyzing performance of current initiatives and present findings and solutions
  • Working in close collaboration with decision sciences teams to identify and evaluate new data sources
  • Provide data driven recommendations and insights to optimize Marketing Strategies and offers
  • Publish periodic performance MIS and deep dive into changes in trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • This role requires a passion for digital marketing and analytics, with a focus on constantly evolving personalization landscape. Additionally, candidates must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills and proven experience working with cross-functional teams
  • An understanding of digital data, analytics/data science, and profitability (Card-economics)
  • Graduates / Post Graduates in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering with relevant experience of 2+ years in analytics
  • Strong ability to drive results; self-starter.
  • Prior programming experience in SAS/Hive. Hands-on experience with digital data and web analytics is a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
