Manager, People Operations
What You’ll Do
Strive is committed to building a values-based, mission-driven organization. In this new position, we’re looking for a collaborative and adaptable individual to serve as a trusted partner to people leaders and their teams. This role will advise and coach on all aspects of our people strategy; talent density, leadership depth, culture & engagement, and organizational effectiveness. This position is located in Denver, CO.
The Day to Day
- Build and cultivate strong partnerships with employees and people managers across Strive
- Work in partnership with managers and employees to address employee relations issues, solve conflicts, and conduct workplace investigations, fairly representing all interests
- Understand and execute on critical components of people operations including application of employment law, performance management, navigating difficult conversations, employee engagement, and training
- Build morale and decrease unwanted turnover by conducting stay interviews and exit interviews
- Partner with Sr. HR Business Partners to advise, guide and coach people managers to navigate the complexities of managing teams and nurturing a healthy and inclusive work environment aligned with Strive’s values
- Assist managers with organizational, people, and change-related issues
- Build relationships with stakeholders and recommend solutions to unique issues using HR best practice, empathy, and an understanding of business impact
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of focused studies/experience/certifications in HR/HRBP experience, or equivalent, in roles of increasing complexity and scope.
- 4+ years' experience advising/consulting people managers on HR processes, especially hands-on experience in management/leadership development, performance management, change management and organizational design.

- Operate with a high degree of integrity and trust to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Take initiative and sees projects through to completion while proactively raising and resolving issues
- Have the ability and desire to juggle short term requests from managers with long term individual priorities and goals
- A self-starter with a proven ability to operate at a tactical and strategic level
- Passion for Strive’s mission and demonstrate an understanding of the unique issues related to Human Resources (HR)
- Non-traditional talent mindset: Desire to understand the business strategy and operational needs to build relevant talent solutions. Our focus is to reinforce Strive’s culture, support company growth, and delight our internal clients
Annual Salary Range: $83,700.00-$101,500.00
Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits. An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
