A Hybrid working model
Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. What does a Manager, People Partner do at Hogarth?Â
The People Partner will be a trusted member of our People Team that supports our largest and fastest growing client. The People Partner will provide support to various business units and will also own the centralized function of LOA & ADA Accommodation Process. The person in this role will be a key contributor to a positive work environment and authentic culture that encourages diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.Â
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement people plans and solutions in order to achieve people initiatives and deliver results for the organization.
- Function as a consultant and counsel to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into People plans.
- Maintain business partnerships with the respective business units and provide end to end HR support & guidance to solve creatively for the business.
- Manages & resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough & objective investigationsÂ
- Provide performance management guidance & coaching to line management & leaders, and work closely with managers on career development initiativesÂ
- Collaborate with the business’s department leadership and management in developing headcount plans, identifying training needs, and advocating for continuous learning for employees where necessary, providing coaching and mentoring support where required.
- Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
- Review gaps in leadership capability across departments within the business and develop action plans accordingly
- Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience and engagement in order to recommend systemic improvements.
- Handle & manage centralized function of end-to-end LOA process and ADA accommodation.
- Work closely with employees, managers, and other People Partners to manage LOA/Accommodation requests.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices.
- Work closely with the LOA administrator (vendor) and payroll for wage coordination and ensure a seamless process.
- Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience or equivalent supporting marketing, advertising or technology industry workforces
- Strong knowledge of California employment law, FMLA, ADA, and best practices
- Ability to identify needs and gaps, and propose strategic solutions
- Proven experience implementing people programs & policies within an organizationÂ
- Demonstrated initiative in a fast-moving work environment, ability to work independently, & make sound decisions; proactive problem solver, strategic thinker, with Can-Do attitude and strong work ethic
- Proactive problem solver with a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude and strong work ethic
- Creativity, passion, and strong critical thinking skills with a willingness to take reasonable risk and challenge the status quo
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to plan, organize, present and facilitate training sessions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
At Hogarth California, the pay for this Full Time position at the time of this posting may range from $100K-$130K. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
