ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Performance and Budget will be responsible for driving performance indicators and budget strategy for the North American Operations team. They will develop our end-to-end financial strategy to ensure we are making smart decisions based on reliable data and benchmarking across industry. Working with operations peers to set standards for OKR performance metrics and assessments. Additionally, the Manager will apply deep knowledge of business programs and capabilities, then work cross-functionally to thoroughly review future potential initiatives and strategies as applied against our business goals. They will also continuously look for ways to innovate and improve our processes to keep us on the leading edge of the industry but also within our budget/financial targets. This position requires a strong leader with knowledge of financial and strategic planning, and performance metrics development to achieve company goals.Â
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Lead critical cross functional initiatives from concept to realization
- Develop efficient systems for collection of information on operational performance for the organization
- Design and operate dashboard and KPIs that report out on OKR performance at regular intervals
- Own the end-to-end budgeting process for NA operations, building out a sustainable system that reports results at the necessary levels for teams to make smart decisions quickly
- Gather and analyze performance and budget data and recommend solutions to improve
- Develop robust reporting/metrics and insights around performance and impact of initiatives
- Own North American Operations performance storytelling, driving understanding of metrics and indicators for action or business adjustments/pivotsÂ
- Establish process for reviewing possible business cases or strategic initiatives, working with critical cross collaborative partners, verify analysis, and structure for decision making
- Drive performance of established department goals and organize workforce to accomplish results within budget and on schedule.Â
- Enhance leadership and communication effectiveness of larger supply chain organization
- Execute financially sound, data-driven business strategies and solutions, which improve operating performance.Â
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or comparable field
- 2+ years of experience in process development, documentation, and deployment
- 2+ years in financial planning, accounting, or budgeting
- Expertise in G-Suite products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and reporting tools
- Data Science or data visualization experience preferred (Looker, SQL, RedShift)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter dynamic environmentÂ
- Experience driving internal influence working cross-functionally on common goals
- Demonstration of a growth mindset and team-first attitude
- Experience in developing and driving supply chain strategy
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related fields
- MBA or other advanced degree - PreferredÂ
