Manager, Performance & Capability Management
Job Description
F&G is hiring Manager, Performance & Capability Management .This position is responsible for leading the design, delivery, measurement and continuous improvement for core HR programs including performance management, manager capability development and individual development planning.This position reports to the VP, Talent & Organization Development
Responsibilities
- Lead F&G’s performance management program GPS (Grow, Perform, Succeed)
- Develop and deliver innovative programming to drive individual development planning at all levels of the organization
- Monitor progress on individidual development plans and identify development opportunities across the organization
- Identify management capability gaps and deliver engaging, impactful content to develop managers
- Ensure performance management, manager capability development and individual development planning are aligned to F&G’s diversity, equity, and inclusion mission and goals
- Ensure performance management, manager capability development and individual development planning programs are driving employee engagement
- Develop recommendations and requirements for technology solutions; optimize performance management, manager capability development and individual development processes with integrated technology
- Regularly engage with employees and managers to assess development and engagement needs
- Create and implement measurement and evaluation strategy to understand impact of performance management, manager capability and individual development programs and develop recommendations based on data analysis
- Partner with closely with Director Talent Management, Manager Talent Development and Total Rewards Center of Excellence to provide inputs and requirements that drive integrated talent management and talent development solutions
- Partner with HR Business Partners to understand business needs and identify opportunities to deliver solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or related areas
- 7+ years of experience working in Human Resources with 3-5 years working specifically in Talent Development/Management
- Experience designing, implementing and measuring Talent Development/Management programs
- Experience with Cornerstone On Demand is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep knowledge of performance management and corresponding metrics and analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages in a compelling manner to internal stakeholders
- Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with HR and cross-functional partners
- Ability to manage large-scale HR proejcts
- Experience using technology to automate and measure Talent Development/Management processes
- Ability to use data to drive descion-making
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to model our core values: Collaborative, Authentic, Dynamic, Empowered and Inclusive

- Regular and punctual attendance
- Some travel required (10%)
