Manager, Performance Media Analytics
Job Description
OVERVIEW
Soko Glam is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven temporary Growth Marketing Manager to lead the performance marketing for campaigns. This is an independent contractor role is for approximately 3 months. The role is responsible for overseeing performance, optimization strategy, and overall analysis of all paid media tactics with a close eye on driving optimal performance and maximizing the efficiency of our media spend. The ideal candidate can create and execute a set of successful channel strategies, develop well-structured tests, roll out successful campaigns, and optimize performance over time against key KPIs. This candidate will be able to partner with a variety of cross-functional teams with ease and will be able to manage within a budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sokoglam.com revenue, scale consistent, and meet a variety of key KPI’s such as sales, traffic, conversion, CAC and ROAS
- Strategically lead measurement of all marketing channels and oversee existing, and development of new, online channel activity including SEM, SEO, email, paid social, affiliate and display
- Help develop channel strategy across new product launches and evergreen campaigns achieving revenue goals
- Develop audience targeting and creative ad strategies to effectively engage target audiencesÂ
- Own weekly performance processes and tasks such as dashboard and lead discussions pertaining to performance against KPI metrics on an ongoing basis, continuously assessing results and making adjustments to campaigns/future plans based on performance to optimize and gain marketing efficiency
- Inform strategy and tactical briefs and plans to ensure alignment to KPI framework and use of key learnings and recommendationsÂ
- Contribute test ideas, execute test strategies, analyze test data and document results
- Produce clear, concise and actionable reports for both media experts as well as leadership
- Analyze and make recommendations on website traffic, ensure the team fully understands consumer path to purchase and optimize while educating internal teams on best performing/worst performing content and pages to improve overall site experience
- Provide clear briefs rooted in historical learnings, current trends, and/or clear testing goals and KPI’s
- Exhibits a strong eye on the market for emerging channels and trendsDaily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency for media channels
- Â Present results and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to key stakeholders; collaborate and iterate based on feedback from cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 5+ years of progress responsibilities including experience in online marketing across multiple channels, and/or growth team
- Beauty industry experience preferred
- You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, ambiguity, appreciate white space and autonomy, and understand the value of a rapid test and learn approach
- You will be savvy about how to leverage large data sets to create sophisticated advertising programs
- Experience across digital marketing channels including affiliate marketing with an emphasis on social media advertising and google search.
- Deep analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail
