Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the Medicare Stars Analytics team, partnering with the Medicare LOB leadership and matrix division teams who are responsible for: identifying, validating, monitoring, and reporting metrics, driving progress on operational capabilities, and making continual process improvements. Provides leadership, guidance and support toward the Government Medicare division. The role will be responsible for forecasting current and future star ratings, gathering all data required, and other stars data requests . Ensures integration among the Medicare LOB leadership, Medicare Stars leadership and domain leads, and matrix partners to drive domain specific action plans. The successful candidate will have Medicare Advantage Stars working knowledge and on-the-job experience, can manage director and above matrix leaders, manage multiple initiatives and projects, and will collect KPI data, aggregate reporting, track issues, and drive Stars governance across all domains. Leads proactive and retrospective metric analysis as well as root cause analysis, and creates best practices; leading in the development and evolution of Medicare Stars business process and management methodology and ensuring appropriate application of best practice standards, guidelines, procedures and tools for analyzing, designing, and performance of business solutions, processes and execution of process improvements.

**This is a Flex position (in the office 3 days a week)**

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree and 6 years' experience in managed care OR 10 years related experience.
  • 5 years of data analytics creation and business metric development.
  • Experienced in leadership of process improvement project teams.
  • Experience creating developing, analyzing, executing, and monitoring performance indicators in a dashboard format.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels in the organization, leading projects and problem resolution.
  • Experience using statistics and statistical analysis for decision making.
  • Proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Analytical and organizational skills including experience in meeting deadlines.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business /Finance or Analytics.
  • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
  • Medicare Advantage Stars management experience.
  • Ability to drive decisions, create optionality and determine impacts of options.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects.
  • Ability to collect data and analyze to understand trends and support decision-making.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and prepare presentations for all levels to share data, options and recommendations.
