Job Description

We are looking for a Manager Planning & Logistics for our Coffee & Tea Factory in Joure, Netherlands. The Manager Planning & Logistics is part of the European supply chain organization and leads the planning & logistics team for the Joure factory. In this factory based role, you are responsible for the complete internal Supply Chain of the factory. From the arrival of green beans & Tea, scheduling all the process and packing lines, ensuring packaging materials are available on the lines at the right moment. Then ensuring the finished goods are delivered to our warehouses across the world. And collaborating with fellow factories and business units across the JDE Global network. Leading a local team, you will have full accountability to deliver on People, Service, Cost and Cash targets. 

In this role you will be responsible for the following: 

• Deliver excellent results through engaged leadership, coaching and team development 

• Execute the supply chain processes in an efficient and effective way 

• Be the primary interface with JDE’s central supply chain organization and external suppliers 

• Set the long-term vision for the Supply Chain area and establishes the right plan to reach it 

• Drive or support the on-time delivery of new product development initiatives 

• Support the roll out of JDE’s Continuous Improvement Program and act as role model for the plant 

• As member of the leadership team, contribute to the overall performance and development of the Roastery 

Qualifications

For this role as a Manager Planning and Logistics, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: 

• Master degree ideally in a Supply related discipline

• 5+ years’ experience in Operations or Supply Chain environment, preferably in FMCG 

• Experience in Leadership roles in a Manufacturing Unit 

• Proven Continuous Improvement Capability – Safety, Financial and Ways Of Working 

• Excellent change and people management skills 

• Experience with SAP and APO/OMP preferred 

• Fluent in Dutch & English
