What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

This role will manage a team of approximately 75 U.S. based associates as well as a 120 person outsourced operation. The team is responsible for cultivating and managing customer account relationships through complex industry pricing programs and processes. Responsible for proactive research, customer and supplier inquiries, and dispute resolution all with a concentration on customer pricing, acting as a liaison with internal and external key stakeholders. The role requires significant business partnering throughout the Medical Segment organization, as well as the ability to manage a broad scope of day to day operations. Operational, Lean Six Sigma and Financial Shared Services experience is helpful to the role.

This position is a remote position.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience (preferred)
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree may be required (preferred)
  • Previous leadership experience (preferred)
  • Lean background or LSS Black Belt Certified (preferred)
