Manager, Procurement & Depository Operations
Job Description
The Manager, Procurement & Depository Operations will be a great partner with all State Depositories and lead all aspects of the manufacturing and assembly of sample products for Sales & Marketing. This includes the purchasing of Amplify's products to ensure the execution of corporate initiatives that span our product and services teams.
The Manager, Procurement & Depository Operations will report to the Exec. Director of Operations and will work closely with the integrated Supply Chain team as well as the product-based General Managers, Service division operations leads, and all third-party vendors.
The ideal candidate will be able to build effective working relationships with a national, remote team of professionals in implementation, production, logistics, and supply chain. S/he must be able to contribute to contract negotiation and enforcement and also be able to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while handling multiple projects.
This candidate must apply a continuous improvement outlook to all current processes, driving effective change where necessary. The Manager, Procurement & Depository Operations will be expected to stay informed on the competitive landscape and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all State Depository relationships, overseeing transfers of inventory and accuracy of reporting.
- Coordinate with Sales Support to ensure that school purchases of Amplify products through State Depositories are communicated correctly and are recorded in Salesforce & Netsuite.
- Assist Account Receivable with ensuring that Depository sales of Amplify products are paid to Amplify within the terms of each contract.
- Assist with handling the manufacturing and assembly of all Amplify products across the preferred supplier base, focusing on sample and promotional products to support Sales & Marketing
- Ensure that high-quality products are produced on schedule at agreed manufacturing times and at market competitive costs.
- Work with Marketing teams & Commercial Operations to provide necessary data to facilitate the loading of new products into Netsuite and supporting databases and ensure Bills of Materials are correct.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a demanding procurement, fulfillment, or supply chain setting
- 2+ years of experience in the education industry
- Experience with CRM and ERP administration or B2B EDI communication.
- Results-driven and operationally adept at finding manufacturing solutions within challenging timelines and customer requirements.
- Ability to manage and work with vendors to achieve desired outcomes to meet specific customer needs
- Broad-based business background with the ability to effectively connect with senior-level executives, colleagues, and subordinates.
- Experience in supporting customer service and understanding the importance of the customer experience, especially within education and working with schools.
- Experience on the front lines, having achieved tangible results through meaningful partnerships with vendors and customers.
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
