Opportunity

Responsible for creating and enriching the digital experiences of Twin Health, the Product organization is looking for a seasoned  manager to build the product analytics function and team for the company.  The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a passion for democratizing data access and an insatiable desire for answering ambiguous business questions via insightful data analysis.  They are a player-coach who loves to mentor their team and witness their growth.  They’re a storyteller of data and an excellent communicator for both technical and non-technical audiences.   They are always on a mission to instill a culture of data curiosity across the company.   

The Manager, Product Analytics will report to the VP of Product, Growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design intuitive yet insightful analytics dashboards and data visualizations
  • Lead complex data deep-dives and modeling efforts to identify features/workflow bottlenecks and growth triggers
  • Develop and champion data-driven discipline in the product development process including upfront impact projections, a/b testing, guard rail metrics/thresholds, and data retrospectives
  • Build and nourish a team of product analysts to support the analytics functions and deliver results
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data Intelligence counterparts to drive performance of analytics solutions that impact overall business results in a cost-effective manner 
  • Create and maintain an event dictionary for instrumentation to ensure data cleanliness and consistency

Qualifications 

  • Master degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in an analytics-related role with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager
  • Working knowledge of fundamental topics in statistical data analysis, distribution/regression analysis, clustering and forecasting 
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, R, SAS, and other statistical tools
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Quicksight, etc.
  • Familiar with data warehouse solutions(e.g., Athena, Snowflake) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark)
  • Proficient in conducting technical discussions with engineering and the ability to convey issues succinctly to less technical audience
  • Self-motivated and keen to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with experience managing and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives
  • A leader who embraces the player-coach mentality and is passionate about growth
