American Express' Consumer Banking organization expands on the concept of Card Membership by building and sourcing differentiated digital products & experience that address the varying financial service needs of American Express Card Members.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Manager, Wealth Product Management will support the end-to-end management and go-to-market strategies of our investment advisory offer launched in partnership with Vanguard (INVEST for Amex by Vanguard). This person will work closely with Vanguard as well as Amex cross-functional teams like marketing & product development to manage the product lifecycle, implement its growth strategies, and champion customer initiatives to drive product success and customer adoption. This is a great opportunity to develop expertise in managing digital financial products and strategic partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead growth and customer adoption strategies including implementing go-to-market initiatives
- Develop deep customer expertise and own design targets, product positioning, and customer insights to ensure product & marketing best resonates with target market
- Analyze market trends and customer behaviors/insights to inform customer adoption efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally to ensure progress towards joint business goals
- Lead day-to-day product responsibilities and partner relationships
Key Qualifications
- Experience or interest in wealth management, personal investing, personal finance
- Organized ability to lead workstreams independently and drive projects to completion
- Ability to influence and build productive cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners
- Highly adaptable and able to handle multiple projects/priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinker with willingness to drive solutions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with product management, partner management, and marketing a plus
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
