Weâre seeking an experienced B2B product marketer like you to drive technology-focused marketing efforts across all of Exigerâs business lines. Our fast-paced, hyper-growth environment is your speed. Youâre a pro at storytelling and an out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about creating stand-out work product. But, itâs not a guessing game. You love deconstructing concepts and turning data into insights you can use. Youâre obsessed with voice of the customer (VOC) and leverage it to understand market challenges and customer needs. Youâre comfortable engaging with executives, leading cross-functional initiatives and project managing competing priorities at once. Now youâre ready to take on a new challenge with us.
This position reports to the Global Head of Marketing based in New York and is open to interested and qualified candidates across the United States so long as there is a commitment to working eastern United States time zone/business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive go-to-market (GTM) - from strategy through execution - for product launches, platform and feature releases
- Master an expert understanding of the market, industry trends, buyer personas, client pain points and competitive landscape
- Develop messaging and materials to promote Exiger's products and services ââ including market position, product definition, product positioning, competitive analysis, value propositions, sales cycles, development road map, use cases, etc.
- Develop compelling and innovative SaaS product positioning, value propositions and messaging
- Partner with global marketing team to support awareness, adoption, and customer retention efforts through a variety of in-person and virtual events, including industry conference sponsorships and hosted roundtable events, and digital channels
- Measure and improve customer satisfaction and brand experience through qualitative and quantitative data measurement
- Partner with the product teams to articulate product features and benefits in context with industry trends
- Develop and standardize product focused sales enablement through dynamic product marketing materials such as case studies, testimonials, and client quotes, in partnership with product, client success, marketing, and sales teams
- Analyze and leverage data-driven insights to inform, design and launch marketing campaigns and demand generation / website content
- Keep up to date on clientsâ product feedback and needs, including buying behavior, challenges, and motivations to help develop additional messages/collateral
- Perform deal deconstruction to understand and address trends around why we won or lost opportunities
- Establish trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business
- Work across Exiger Business units, marketing, and PR agencies to standardize platform messaging and a differentiated âSaaSâ brand and tone
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven track record of delivering compelling marketing collateral that tells a story, showcasing excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to translate product features into customer benefits and unique selling points
- Ability to convert studies, surveys, and customer feedback into thought leadership, lead general campaigns, and case studies
- Customer experience journey mapping and VOC documentation (buyer-customer-product) to include persona development and pain point discovery, remediation plans, and supporting data analysis and insights
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an eye for editing
- Proven ability to project manage, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to apply marketing strategy to business initiatives
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to work well individually and on a team
- Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ability to adapt quickly in handling multiple/evolving tasks as a result of new engagements and/or re-prioritized deadlines
- Knowledge and comfort with B2B marketing trends and technology
Professional Experience Required
- Bachelorâs Degree required; Marketing, Business, or Communications degree preferred
- 4-6 years in a B2B product marketing, ideally with a high-tech, B2B, or SaaS provider
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience working with a broad range of diverse digital marketing tools covering multiple marketing categories and media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
