Manager, Product Marketing and Sales Enablement

Metropolis develops advanced computer vision and machine learning technology that makes mobile commerce remarkable. Our platform is deployed in hundreds of mobility facilities and industries with billions in opportunity. We’re building the digital pipes through which the future of mobile commerce will move.
The role
The Marketing Manager will help sell our products and empower our sales team with world class materials. They will dig into potential customers' motivations and goals, and build compelling content to bring our solutions to them to life. They will work with our product team to understand the technical details better than anyone, and know how to translate those details into customer-facing stories that engage and compel to action.
Responsibilities
- Grabbing and keeping attention. You understand that a compelling story must both get across what we want to tell but also deliver what they want to hear. You know that visuals can be as impactful as words. And that a talk track can be one of the most critical parts of a presentation.
- Details not only matter, they are foundational. You love technology products. Not just the promise of them, but what makes them special today. You live for digging into those details and finding the nuggets that build the emotional connection between us and our potential customers.
- Multi-channel storytelling. You know how to build a great deck. But also know that it is critical to use the right tool for the right job. Sometimes that is a 1-pager. Others a competitive battlecard. And you are comfortable in many different mediums to find that silver bullet.
- Intellectual curiosity. You have experienced a lot, but are never satisfied. It is always about pursuit of more that might unlock the next idea. And new and different ways to look at problems that challenge conventional wisdom and take you and others out of comfort zones.
Requirements
- At least three years of marketing experience. Competitive candidates will have experience in a B2B marketing role. Unicorn candidates will have experience developing product marketing and/or building sales materials for a tech-focused b2b company.
- Remarkable writing skills. Not just ok, not good, remarkable. Your writing should make us wish we had thought to put it that way.
- Proficiency with presentation tools and the ability to bring to life technical detail with them.
- Experience in the transportation, mobility, real estate, or logistics industries is a plus! A passion for making the journey remarkable is non-negotiable. But mostly we’re looking for builders who are nice and give a damn.
