Job Description
The Enterprise Products team is seeking an experienced, insightful and forward-thinking manager to lead Release Management, Production Support and Program Management teams and to play a critical role in our ongoing efforts in the pursuit of operational excellence, process standardization, and enhanced efficiency across our product suite.In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop, facilitate, and oversee a sound product development life cycle, operational processes and program management practices in support of the Enterprise Products organization. This is a leadership role within Enterprise Products and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record partnering with and influencing executives, leading release management and production support functions, managing complex programs, strategic and tactical execution of operational processes, a good understanding of project management in critical environments, and strong working knowledge of an Enterprise Engineering organization.
Required Skills
Manager, Product Operations Responsibilities:
- Develop processes that drive standardization and efficiency through operational rigor across Release Management, Production Support and Program Management
- Drive operational excellence, including streamlining internal processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing best practices to drive continuous improvement across departments
- Manage Product Operations services to ensure compliance with core KPIs and SLAs, work cross functionally with stakeholders to review and improve business processes
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence
- Build, scale, and maintain programs that drive strategic priorities from ideation to implementation, primarily through strong program management principles and hands-on leadership
- Develop strong executive, peer and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels
- Partner across functions to support leadership and motivate teams to take action and drive projects to completion
- Promote thought leadership for new ideas and new ways of executing operational initiatives (operational reviews, reducing on-call burden, standardization of processes/tooling, production support/release management improvements, project/program management best practices, etc.) and drive continuous improvements in the delivery of operations
- Exhibit excellent judgment on sensitive and cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between leaders, sub-teams, and the larger organization
- Scope, drive, and ensure continuous improvement of vendor managed services as appropriate, reducing compliance risk while maintaining business velocity and flexibility
- Ensure standardization of support workflows and processes, supporting establishment of a dedicated production operations team across Enterprise Products application pillars
Minimum Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience leading broad and geographically dispersed product operations organizations, specifically Release Management, Production Support and Program Management
- Proven track record in successfully leading product operations teams focused on process optimization, rigor, standardization and efficiency
- Experience leading programs and projects with a company-wide impact, including hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects
- Impeccable organization skills, with project and process management skills and a track record of dependable follow-through
- Demonstrated record of problem-solving, influencing and analytical skills, including presentation skills to leadership
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and willingness to play high and low - to think strategically and also dig into the details and execute
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Google G suite, and other Project Management tools in an enterprise environment
- Experience with proprietary in-house built systems, information security, corporate systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce, Workday), and working with internet scale data reporting analysis
- At least 5 years of people management experience, including experience managing managers
- 8+ years of experience in Project/Program Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space
- 8+ years of experience in leading release management functions within a product organization and production system support organizations in partnership with IT Organizations
Preferred Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Experience with hands-on involvement solving technical problems
- Deep understanding of the product development life cycle across various areas of business operations (finance, revenue, people experiences, supply chain, recruiting, workspaces, etc.)
- Strong understanding of IT and Product Operations, applications and technology stacks
- Experience working with with managed service providers
- Experience leading global organizations
