Job Summary

Hologic is seeking a Program Manager, PMO who will be dedicated to program management of Oncology projects and programs in a CLIA lab setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

• Act as an independent leader of new product development programs and diverse business sustaining initiatives involving cross-functional teams that drive growth of the oncology portfolio
• Establish project objectives and work plans including schedule, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Delegate assignments to functional area team members and track key project activities to successful completion. Report project status to leadership team
• Responsible for the management of cross-functional, business critical projects and programs
• Exert influence within a highly matrixed organization that is in the forming and norming stages after an integration
• Apply expertise to influence and implement best practices that improve customer experience and patient testing
• Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
• Utilize expertise to proactively identify and resolve project risks
• Drive for success while ensuring consistency and alignment across the team by overcoming constraints, problems, and issues
• Exceed customer expectations, while maximizing value to Hologic and maintaining compliance to all applicable standards

Qualifications

• Expert in Program Management/Leadership
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of stage-gate Product Development process
• Expert in Product Development including Design Control procedures
• Expert in management of project risks
• Expert communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with CLIA lab quality systems regulations

Education

• BS Degree in Science or Engineering required. MS, M.B.A or equivalent degree preferred
• PMP Certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse sustainability projects such as product improvements, reliability, regulatory, custom, regional, product lifecycle, and others
• Experience leading large cross functional projects and teams
• Experience within Oncology marketplace preferred; Molecular Diagnostics experience is a plus; Experience at a top-tier Consultant firm a plus
