Manager, Project Implementation - Tailored Plans
Job Description
**This position is Remote in North Carolina, with some days in Office in Raleigh**
Position Purpose: Lead implementation projects across multiple functional teams while ensuring delivery excellence. Drive key business initiatives and solutions across the project while adhering to the prescribed methodologies. Develop and implement plans to drive solution related revenue and program deployment while leading a team of internal and external resources.
Manage cross functional activities related to large-scale implementations to deliver programs on schedule, within budget and with superior quality.
Lead and motivate cross functional team members through building a positive team attitude, resolving conflicts and clearly communicating program objectives.
Act as single point of contact for all program related issues and escalations including risk management, technology strategy development and risk response strategy throughout the program.
Communicate business objectives as well as technical complexities of the program to key stakeholders at many levels of the organization.
Track, report and communicate program progress to team members and stakeholders; manage program repository and ensure all program documentation is up to date and accessible.
Monitor the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation.
Manage and mentor Project Managers.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, IT, related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of implementation and/or program management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare operations and the relationships and dependencies between functional areas preferred.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with North Carolina Medicaid and the managed care environment highly preferred
- License/Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
