Job Description

Under the Direction of the AVP, Performance Excellence, the Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) is a player coach role that will be responsible for creating robust departmental management process, leading a team of project managers, and project managing large initiatives. This role will have a particular focus on cross-functional projects and operational improvement. The Manager, PMO is a member of the WelbeHealth management team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and with external stakeholders to promote WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Essential Job Duties

  • Oversee the management of the PMO department and staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining project management best practices, standards, and methodologies within the PMO.
  • Leading and driving a portfolio of projects to successful implementation across the organization, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
  • Tracking and reporting project status, and promptly escalating issues to higher management when appropriate.
  • Organizing project resources, tracking, and managing any over-allocated resources, and motivating the team to complete key deliverables.
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivered projects meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Analyzing and controlling project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to escalate risks to decision-makers when necessary.
  • Building and delivering standard project reports to the project team, key stakeholders, and WelbeHealth leadership.
  • Presenting project status and updates to senior executives and leadership.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all required project documentation.
  • Manage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring.
  • Must be willing and can work a varied schedule that may include evening, nights, and weekends.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of all company procedures and information about team members, participants, and families.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted.
  • PMP or Six-Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a project management role.
  • Required Healthcare experience
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to be flexible and wear โ€œmany hats.โ€
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Passion for process โ€“ both the creation of process where it does not exist, and the improvement of existing processes that could be better.
  • Previous experience in a regulated healthcare environment, Value Based Care preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Two yearsโ€™ supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Ability to process accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects.
  • Highly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meets established goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and competency working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Wage base range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
