Cognizant is looking for a Lead Developer(Java) in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality

Summary: The main function of a developer is to develop create and modify general computer applications utilizing Lead Developer(Java).

Qualification: BS or equivalent

Responsibility:

• Client reporting and gather requirements regular cadence with customer stake holders and also sync up with offshore
• Identify and analyze user requirements
• Prioritize assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
• Develop Java EE applications
• Write well-designed efficient code
• Review test and debug team members' code
• Design database architecture
• Schedule product releases with internal teams
• Document development phases
• Ensure our applications are secure and up to date
