The Role

The Engineering & Quality Assurance teams are the nuts & bolts of the Bloomerang organization. Managers within the QA department exist to ensure that the QA Department is able to meet the department’s expectations. Their focus is on providing coaching, mentoring, & motivation for a high producing team. In addition to managing the productivity and quality of work to ensure teams meet established goals and standards, QA Managers are experts at articulating the features and benefits of Bloomerang.

What You Will Do

• Working cross-functionally to contribute to goals of the organization
• Building a safe space for open dialogue and problem solving for all team members
• Suggesting ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient
• Coaching, mentoring, & motivating a high producing team 
• Managing productivity and quality of work to ensure teams meet established goals and standards 
• Meeting 1:1 with reports (weekly or bi-weekly) to ensure guidance and support
• Conducting Weekly Team Meetings to provide an understanding of strategy and expectations
• Instilling practices to produce overall product quality from idea to release
• Managing QA's execution of planned strategy which includes but is not limited to:
• Testing environments & devices
• Testing planning & coverage
• Test execution & efforts
• Automated regression prioritization
• Testing tools & team collaboration
• Continuous auditing of processes and tooling to increase quality and reduce spending

• You have experience leading a Software QA Team 
• Top-notch programming skills and overall ability to get stuff done.
• Advanced skills in server-side web development stacks.
• Modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript guru.
• Understand the basics of cloud systems: Linux, security, DNS, cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc),
• Technology leader
• Continuously improving yourself & team through your work & interactions with others
• You’re an expert at articulating the features and benefits of Bloomerang

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $101,500 - $137,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
