They will be tasked with identifying opportunities to continually refine and improve their processes and improving overall results. They will responsible for working closely with multi-functional areas across PayPal located in different regions, including sales, pricing, marketing, legal, compliance, and risk. They will also work closely with Product Management and Development teams in an agile environment.

Job Description Summary:

The PayPal Global ETX Organization is responsible for defining  a strategy to deliver a large scale, enterprise grade product suite for PayPal’s Sales organization based on the Salesforce Platform. The Quality Assurance team is responsible for defining test strategies, creating project oriented test plans, defining test cases and scripts, and managing test phases of a project including issue tracking.  In addition this team is responsible for selecting a test automation tool and utilizing that tool to automate the testing of this complex application suite.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of product QA experience or similar experience with large scale strategic initiatives
  • Ability to build and lead  a best in class team of QA testers and Automation engineers
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to Developers
  • Ability to collaborate with peer leaders in a cross functional organization
  • Experience utilizing key presentation/visualization tools (e.g., Salesforce, Einstein Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce App Exchange tools is a plus
  • Experience with Test Automation and Test Case Tracking tools is also a plus
  • Exceptional problem solving, teamwork and leadership skills. 
  • Experience with Jira and Clarizen    
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum  
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a data-driven and outcome oriented cross-functional team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions.
  • Own the strategy for the Quality Assurance team and ensure the team is knowledgeable in the Sales business domain.  
  • Be comfortable delivering a compelling story that includes the strategies and outcomes of the Quality Assurance organization.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating and working cross functionally with Sales, Product Managers, Developers/Engineers and other stakeholders
  • Implementing data-driven strategy for QA that demonstrates continuous automation coverage and higher quality products delivered into production.    
  •  Ensure Test strategies and plans align well with those of Product Management and Development.
  • Building trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap, and metrics. 
  • After major releases provide feedback to business, Product Management, and Development as to ways to build quality into solutions from the beginning rather than finding issues on the backend of the project lifecycle.
  • Making tactical prioritization decisions to ensure all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand the approaches chosen by the QA team
  • Be  a subject matter expert in the QA domain,   and be aware of emerging industry  trends
  • Define KPIs for all re-occuring processes.  Publish metrics in a meaningful, actionable way to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and sprint demos
  • Work very closely with development, user experience, documentation and other product teams to execute the Sales Tech product strategy.
