As the Manager, Regional Human Resources Support, you will have responsibility for collaborating across Business Human Resources Divisions in a designated region to ensure market wide strategies and objectives. This role has a direct and impactful role to ensure complete alignment on market matters across divisions. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Drive and implement collaborative actions to facilitate regional labor sharing and wage rate/annualization
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the current labor markets, internal and external, and the characteristics of the workforce in a respective region
  • Conduct research activity that examines the constraints, capabilities and potential for expanding labor opportunities within respective market
  • Drive organizational culture and climate for change in which employees have the competency and commitment to serve customers well in a competitive business environment across divisions
  • Model and demonstrate that our business leaders and employees are our most important resource; lead by putting team first
  • Foster a close, harmonious relationship with HR leaders to ensure complete alignment on market matters across divisions
  • Maintain thorough understanding of bench strength in each division to ensure we are providing growth opportunities in the market
  • Provide peak support for incentive structure for consistency in programs and effectiveness
  • Drive and lead continuous improvement on labor sharing in respective markets
What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 5 years of HR management experience
  • Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and timekeeping systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record and increasing levels of responsibility in the HR field
It'd be great if you also have:
  • PHR, SPHR or other HR certification or designation
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong local and market brand
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors and Kronos
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Ability to provide management with proactive ideas on creating and maintaining a positive employee relations climate
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization
