Job Title: Research & Verification Manager

This Position Reports To: Director, Research & Verification
Location: McKinley, Temporary Work-from-Home due to the pandemic
About The Role: Responsible for the verification and research delivery ensuring all Service Level Agreements are met and regular client engagement is maintained such that clients’ revenue is maintained and grown and Sterling RISQ’s vision is realized.
This Is What You’ll Do:
- Effectively manage the verification and research teams to ensure required outputs are met in line with quantitative and qualitative goals; specifically ensuring a smooth and systematic workflow; maximizing operational efficiencies as well as making recommendations to the senior leadership team to improve existing systems;
- Driving high levels of standards and strongly leading a culture of service and accountability across all aspects of the operation by providing an active focus on people development, which include but are not limited to coaching, timely appraisals, ensuring development and retention of your direct reports;
- Maintain and update verifications and research standard operating procedures;
- Implementing and monitoring progress of new improvement initiatives through regular engagement and consultation with relevant business stakeholders;
- Providing expert advice, guidance and support to screening managers and operational staff;
- Maintain the highest level of platform knowledge such that mapping and ongoing development of workflows to ensure optimal efficiency; speed, accuracy and client satisfaction, is achieved seamlessly;
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to enable the explanation of our product range and their benefits to both internal and external clients;
- Manage the team to ensure client expectations are not only being met, but to increase client satisfaction by system enhancements and improvement in service delivery;
- Monitor quantity and quality of the team’s outputs and implement corrective measures where necessary;
- Coordinate with peers in overseas offices to ensure performance and service delivery standards are met;
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation, best practices and changing trends to ensure ongoing improvement and compliant delivery;
- Champion the building and maintenance of highly effective teams, and ensure the RISQ Laugh and Learn culture thrives;
- Other duties as assigned by the Sterling RISQ.
This Is The Job For You If You Have:
- Strong team management background, with 6+years related experience
- Proven track record in successful operations management
- A mature outlook with a focus on people development
- Experience in delivering high volume outputs
- Experience in managing on-shore/off-shore operations and resource planning
- The ability to manage multiple improvement projects, track activities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent administration skills;
- The ability to self-manage and driven to achieve goals
- English – Advanced level (both written and spoken)
- Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Office suite of products including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong rapport building skills
- A strong focus on accuracy and high attention to detail
- Knowledge of data privacy principle / data protection
This Is What We're Looking For:
- Possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree, in any field
- Strong team management background, with 6+years related experience
- Proven track record in successful operations management
- A mature outlook with a focus on people development
- Experience in delivering high volume outputs
- Experience in managing on-shore/off-shore operations and resource planning
- The ability to manage multiple improvement projects, track activities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

No attendance issues (no active written warning on file) and zero instance of No Call/No Show

Must have a performance rating of at least Successful in the most recent performance review

Must have at least 6 months tenure in his/her current roleÂ
Employment Type: This is a full-time probationary position for 3 months. Confirmation to permanent role will be dependent on the employee’s performance. Selected candidate will be assigned in the day shift at the McKinley site.
