Responsibilities
About the role:
The Manager of Residual Value Management is responsible for supporting and implementing the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of a centralized residual value management framework for GMF's International Operations (IO). The Manager will play a key role in the review and evaluation of local country's research and analysis to quantify the impact of economic, market, and industry factors that affect portfolio performance. The position focuses on management of GMF IO key priorities and initiatives related to vehicle residual values, including coordination of risk team involvement in cross-functional, global efforts.

- Proven execution on process improvement and project delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge/experience with used vehicle valuation, residual value, consumer risk, or financial reporting
- Working knowledge of policy and organizational governance
- Experience in delivering written and verbal communications to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in SAS (Base, Macros) or SQL
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, business, economics or equivalent work experience required
- Master's Degree preferred
- 3+ years' experience in leasing products, Finance, and/or Credit Risk in the Financial/Automotive sector; required
- 1-3+ years of Remarketing, Residual, used vehicle valuation, or Pricing experience preferred'
