Manager, Revenue Accounting

Exabeam is looking for a highly motivated and talented Revenue Senior Associate or Manager, Revenue Accounting to join our Accounting team. Reporting to Sr. Revenue Manager, the ideal candidate will be able to work independently, partner with teams across the organization, have good communication skills and be highly organized. Revenue Manager will perform a wide array of analyses, reporting, and accounting tasks to support the revenue function.

As a key team member of the revenue recognition team, the candidate will be responsible for completing deal reviews, detecting problem areas, and execute priorities of finance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day Accounting functions such as review revenue contracts to ensure revenue recognition is compliant in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606 
• Review all orders for completeness and accuracy to ensure they are compliant with the Company's revenue recognition policy and internal controls.
• Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data related to revenue, deferred revenue and open contract elements that require deferral of revenue.
• Review or perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations, including validating revenue, deferred revenue, and revenue financial statement balances.
• Assist in revenue accounting, closing processes and flux analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual audit
• Perform and maintain SSP analysis on a semi-annual basis
• Support and participate on revenue related projects
• Work with sales and professional services organization to resolve issues
• Review and recommend improvements to existing revenue management functions and internal controls
• Identify and resolve revenue related issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA, and Big 4 accounting experience preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in revenue accounting
• Thorough understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP Accounting Standards
• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite ARMs and Excel required
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
• Experience with revenue accounting software is a plus
• Experience reviewing customer contracts
• Able to work under pressure, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Base Pay Range:

$124,000 - $150,000

• Range is reflective of base pay only
• Does not include variable pay
• Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
