Manager, Revenue Assurance

Your role in helping us shape the future:
As Manager, Revenue Assurance you will manage the verification and validation of all sales order contract "booking" data into Intelsat financial systems, coordinating with Legal, Pricing, Deal Management, Sales Support and Sales on the contract generation and review processes. You'll initiate and maintain all billing schedules in the Oracle Fusion Subscription Module . You'll use your expertise to develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure all bookings are accounted for properly, with responsibility for developing automated workflow procedures and enhancements. You'll manage monthly booking close cycle and provide guidance on certain order entry activities the group will be responsible for completing.
In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and testing new products additions to Oracle Inventory through the booking and billing systems. The Manager, Revenue Assurance will oversee the backlog, net new order, and renewal rate reporting and ensure accuracy. You'll demonstrate strategic vision of the Revenue Assurance responsibilities and systems and d evelop processes and procedures in line with relevant internal controls and SOX requirements. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Revenue Accounting team regarding any OSS enhancements as required for the Revenue Module Contracting System "RMCS".
Are you up to the challenge?

• Ensure all financial data is verified and validated
• Coordinate quarterly reviews with KMPG and internal audit
• Establish workflow processes and procedures for all system integrating into Oracle Accounts Receivable
• Ensure all products are set-up in Oracle Inventory and updated with the correct General Ledger ID's
• Facilitate product booking standards refinement efforts
• Ensure the booking processes meet audit and SOX standards for all PBC's and Due Diligence deliverables
• Provide internal reporting for orders processing information, which is included in Senior Management & BOD desks
• Provide business requirements to IT as relates to Oracle Fusion Subscription Module and Schedule All
• Lead projects related to legal entity consolidation and standardized booking elements
• Manage the company's use of the Oracle Fusion Subscription Module
• Assist with special projects for department & Senior Management as requested
• Develop processes and controls for Oracle Fusion Subscription Module

You should definitely have:

• Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or similar field
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Significant experience and command of accounting systems, preferably Oracle, and must have substantial experience in Contract Management, including backlog and net new orders
• Experience with the contract management process
• Proven effective written and oral English language skills
• Oracle ERP experience and at least 10 years of financial system experience
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent people management and leadership skills; previous management experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills

It would be nice if you had:

• MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
