Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access. We make it easy for people to find quality in-network mental health care by removing historic barriers faced by mental health providers, payers, and patients. 

1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the vast majority do not get the care they need. The primary reason is cost: the majority of therapists do not accept insurance, meaning paying for therapy is prohibitively expensive for prospective patients. This is where we got our start – Headway has built the first software-enabled network of therapists who accept health insurance, making it easy for therapists to grow their practices, and possible for patients to find quality care they can afford. 

We launched in April of 2019 and are now powering 400,000+ appointments per month. To scale our vision, we’ve raised over $100 million in funding from a16z, Thrive, Accel, and Google Ventures.

About the Team & Role

Enablement ensures employees possess the skills, knowledge, process expertise and access to assets to optimize every provider and patient interaction. It’s a collaborative approach to identifying and delivering the right training, resources, support, and tools to teams so they are fully equipped to help providers and patients achieve their goals. Knowledge management is an essential part of this, allowing the teams Enablement serves to reduce knowledge silos, maximize productivity, reduce inefficiencies, deliver a better customer experience, and win more providers faster.

Note that up to 30% of your time may be spent on additional, out-of-role business needs. This is because our business is rapidly changing in order to achieve our mission of building a new mental healthcare system. You Will

  • Manage an existing team of high-performing sales enablers delivering onboarding, continued education, and go-to-market updates to Headway’s sales teams in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Take accountability for reducing the ramp time of incoming sales hires by helping the team evolve the program to increase the impact of the onboarding we provide
  • Take accountability for packaging and disseminating updates from cross-functional teams to sales as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Oversee the strategy for continued education of sales based on company priorities and an evolving competitive landscape
  • Drive sales enablement efforts for launches, rollouts, expansions, and implementations
  • Observe trainings and provide sharp feedback to in-seat full-time sales trainers
  • Support the build of e-learnings to make content as engaging and “sticky” as possible
  • Build deep, consultative partnerships with sales operations, marketing, salespeople, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams outside of sales
  • Unblock the team’s day-to-day work to increase speed and quality of deliverables
  • Measure, report on, and optimize the impact of sales enablement
  • Report to the Head of Enablement

You’d be a great fit if…

  • You have 3+ years’ experience leading a team of high-performing enablers and 5+ years of overall enablement experience
  • You have been an individual contributor in sales enablement yourself; you've worked in a high-growth technology environment
  • You’ve partnered with sales leaders, marketing, sales operations, and cross-functional teams to bring salespeople the knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs
  • You have experience working in Lessonly, Outreach, Confluence, Gong and/or Salesforce
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments and embrace the change that comes with it
