Invesco Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is evolving its capabilities and is looking for new Team members. Enterprise Risk is a global Second Line of Defense function that engages with Invesco Business teams to facilitate delivery and oversight of the risk management framework and provide a consistent, aligned approach to risk management across the firm.

Your Role
The Manager, STS Risk Assurance will support the Global Head of STS Risk Assurance and provide oversight to risk assurance and regulatory audit activities for STS (Investment Services, Technology and Security), including audit planning, scoping, remediation and impact analysis of any issues, and conclusion reporting. Partnering with a team of subject matter experts, a key focus of this role will be to support assurance activities of the STS organization throughout the ongoing transformation of our business.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Driving the implementation of risk assurance framework
- Leading the operations of internal/external audits and regulatory examinations - specifically Service Organization Control reporting (SOC 1 Type II);
- Developing and fostering a culture of risk mitigation and accountability within the organization;
- Ensuring that controls used to mitigate risks are properly designed, executed, and documented;
- Monitoring the disposition/resolution of issues resulting from audits and examinations;
- Maintaining an awareness of all regulatory requirements and changes within the industry and their impact on our services.
- Provide key insights to your global leader, initiate projects to support the team to define goals and improve processes.
- Regularly communicate and interface with leadership and global executives in high profile management situations.
The Experience You Bring:
- Minimum of 7 years of audit, risk & controls experience working in an asset management, Big 4 and/or Consulting roles
- Working knowledge of methods used to perform risk analysis, risk assessments, control assessments, vulnerability assessments and audit management.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and corporate requirements such as SOX and SSAE18 / ISAE3402 as both a SOC1/SOC2 service organization and report user.
- Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally.
- Experience with prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously under timelines and shifting priorities.
- Experience working directly with leadership as well as individual contributors at all levels, including executive level, both inside and outside of a company.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills including executive presentation skills.
- Strong technology skills including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Solid understanding of the asset management industry and how the business operates.
Formal Education:
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA or master's degree in a relevant subject matter preferred.
License / Registration / Certification:
- Certification in at least one of the following: FRM, CRISC, CISSP, CIPP, CISA, CPA, etc.
