Manager, Risk Intelligence

As the Manager of Risk Intelligence, you will lead and develop a team of skilled Intelligence Analysts within our Risk Intelligence Monitoring Center. Your role will be pivotal in overseeing the real-time monitoring of open-source risk events, conducting thorough analyses of potential threats, and ensuring the delivery of precise and timely reports to our clients. In addition to managing the daily operations and ensuring adherence to established procedures, you will play a key role in enhancing team performance, driving operational efficiency, and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

• Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Intelligence Analysts. Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate professional growth and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and morale.
• Real-Time Monitoring: Oversee and ensure effective monitoring of a wide array of real-time risk events. Develop strategies to improve monitoring efficiency and accuracy.
• Analytical Excellence: Conduct detailed analyses of potential threats and risks, ensuring that reports are accurate, timely, and actionable. Make informed decisions on reporting high-priority risk events, providing insights and recommendations to clients and leadership.
• Operational Management: Design and implement robust operational processes and procedures to streamline workflows, enhance team productivity, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and resolve customer inquiries and interactions with professionalism. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and escalate issues as necessary to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with organizational goals.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Utilize advanced analytical skills and sound judgment in decision-making. Develop strategies to address complex problems and make time-sensitive decisions regarding risk reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identify and drive initiatives for continuous improvement within the team. Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and best practices.

What You'll Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: Significant experience in intelligence analysis or a related field, demonstrating a thorough understanding of current events and global affairs. Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role with a track record of successfully managing collocated teams.
• Skills and Expertise:
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, performance management, and motivational strategies.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize high volumes of information.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey complex information and insights.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in social media analysis and open-source research methodologies.
