Role overview
The Manager, Sales Enablement role is instrumental in ensuring the success and growth of the overall sales organization by providing ongoing development, efficiency, and scalability. This role supports a wide breadth of sales activities, most importantly learning and development of the Field Ops function. Having a knowledge and understanding of healthcare within health insurance plans and commercial employers will be crucial for the role, as will an eagerness to work a fast-paced, challenging environment.
A day in the life...
This role must have the ability to execute on any of the following responsibilities identified below, or they may be asked to solely focus on one specific functional area within sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with your leader to assist in the strategic planning and shaping of the learning and development function within sales enablement, to support all of field operations
  • Execution and tracking of any of the following functions within learning and development to improve the functional capabilities and competencies of field operations, which may include but is not limited to:
    • New hire onboarding
    • Bi-monthly sales training
    • Sales Season Training
    • Field certifications and knowledge checks
    • Follow-on training from corporate sales events
  • Improve rigor around the quality of presentations for ongoing sales training and new hire onboarding and ensure content is relevant to the audience
  • Collaborate with your leader to assist in the strategic planning and shaping of the deal desk function within sales enablement, with the goal to improve process and quality of the entire sales cycle, including the transition to customer success and implementation
  • Work alongside your leader to develop and ultimately execute on a tracking system for non-standard approvals such as pricing, performance guarantees, clinical, reporting, contract requirements, etc.
  • Collaborate with your leader, and cross-functionally, to uncover areas of process improvement to become more scalable and eliminate unnecessary and duplicative work within the field operations teams
  • Work alongside your leader and cross-functionally with legal, finance, and implementation to streamline the contracting process within each business segment
  • Execute on the areas of the contracting process, ultimately determined to be a function within sales enablement
  • Evaluate tools alongside your leader for enhancement to the sales training process, under the lens of efficiency and scalability
  • Continually review and evaluate established processes within field operations to detect areas for change and improvement and identify the need for new process
  • Must have the ability to manage and coordinate tasks within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Additional sales enablement support as defined

What we are looking for...
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience related to sales support and enablement
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • Learning & development and/or deal desk experience a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of all lines of business within health insurance plans a plus
  • Proficient in Google applications, Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Quick study with an intrinsic commitment to continuous learning
  • Team player able to instill confidence and motivate colleagues
  • Demonstrated willingness to support the success of your peers
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
