Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations
Job Description
Global Sales, Strategy, & Operations encompasses Sales Learning & Enablement, Sales Technology, Sales Process & Programs, Sales Analytics, and other core functions that support driving experience and productivity across Gartner's global sales teams. The Change Management function determines the people impacts of GSSO-driven initiatives and develops strategies for successful change implementations for over 6,000 sales associates.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Change Management, the Manager will spearhead change management strategy for new and existing Sales Learning and Development team, including Gartner's Sales new hire onboarding, the Sales Process team, and the Sales Programs team.
What you'll do:
- Lead change management strategy and development for our global Sales Learning & Development team pertaining to both new and existing programs through creation of a "change management playbook."
- Partner closely with SL&D Leadership, Sales Process and Programs Leadership, and Sales Leadership to understand strategic priorities of the global sales teams to inform various programming needs.
- Drive change management efforts through effective stakeholder management, communications, content, and more
- Build strong partnerships with sales, sales operations, and sales support partners to spearhead change efforts and collect feedback.
- Represent SL&D function at key leadership meetings as needed; support with development of 'executive level' meeting material and presentation.
- Partner across GSSO and LLOE to ensure the SL&D function stays aligned with overall GSSO strategy and initiatives; collaborates with NCVI partners to effectively drive change management.
- Tailor and oversee communications creation and refinement including but not limited to leadership presentations, announcements, newsletters, intranet pages, and email updates.
- Manage execution of SL&D change initiatives and oversee change management workstreams as needed.
- Drive change channels including advisory networks and focus groups.
- Advocate for the sales experience across all change management decisions and channels.
What you'll need:
- 5 years' experience in sales, learning and communications roles.
- Capable of diagnosing complex scenarios and collaborating with key stakeholders to align on the appropriate solution.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Expert in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Intellectual curiosity and creativity.
- Proficient project and program management skills.
