As a Sales Manager in TELUS Consumer Goods, you will be responsible for helping build, leading and motivating a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, fostering a customer-centric culture, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a proven track record in SaaS sales leadership and a passion for driving team engagement.

This role is remote, with the expectation to manage a Sales team globally.

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team performance and high engagement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share in the consumer goods industry.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team, emphasizing the importance of building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Utilize sales analytics and CRM tools to track sales performance, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.

What you bring to the role

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the Consumer Goods industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive sales performance and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of the consumer goods industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and competitor landscape.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
