Job Overview
The Scheduling Manager position is responsible for the general oversight and management of Scheduling team functions, including initiation, planning, implementation, and improving scheduling processes, procedures, and services to provide quality patient care at all AltaMed PACE Centers. Serves as a key resource and subject matter expert for scheduling and ensures efficient and effective operations workflows, and processes while requiring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. Provide leadership for scheduling function while working collaboratively with the PACE operations and medical leadership, to ensure the achievement of PACE strategic goals. The Scheduling Manager shall have the responsibility and authority to carry out procedures, planning, organizing, communicating, and implementation of any responsibilities related to the scheduling workflow. It is also the responsibility of the Scheduling Manager to provide support, guidance, and direction to scheduling team. Responsible for supporting the center team(s); hiring, and onboarding of the Scheduling staff and managing scheduling related productivity, performance, accountability and expectations. The Scheduling Manager is responsible for maintaining effective communication, processes related to scheduling functions; develop and implement standardized, cost-effective, efficient systems; and protocols focusing on providing quality patient care in PACE settings.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, organizational management, or related field is required.
2. Master’s degree preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care administration required.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory position in a customer-facing organization required.
5. Experience in working with Medical, Medicare and PACE regulations preferred.
6. Certified Project Management Professional strongly preferred.
7. EPIC experience preferred.
Compensation
$99,050.00 - $123,822.00 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
