HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Manager, Scrum Master is responsible for planning and facilitating all Agile ceremonies, and supporting the team in delivering incremental value each sprint while continuing to drive towards the product vision. The incumbent must be able to identify and remove impediments and external distractions, ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources to rapidly respond to change, and create an environment of collaboration to help the team achieve long-term success.
This role will be a direct interface to many senior- and executive-level business and technical partners and must develop strong working relationships with all resources to ensure successful delivery, continuous improvement, and overall adoption within the firm. At times, this role may lead select projects via Waterfall methodologies and perform typical Project Manager and Business Analyst responsibilities.
  • Be a champion for continuous improvement activities and further maturation of the firm's Agile transformation and adoption
  • Ensure Scrum Team actions are aligned with defined Strategic Initiatives, vision, and goals of the firm
  • Mentor and develop other scrum masters and team members
  • Foster an environment of Scrum Team self-organization and accountability
  • Schedule and facilitate/lead all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, daily stand up, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to execution
  • Manage and direct internal, consultant, and vendor resources throughout various stages of delivery
  • Help define a consistent playbook of Agile best practices and ensure compliance with LACE (Lean-Agile Center of Excellence) guidelines
  • Coach and support Product Owners in ongoing Backlog Grooming techniques and best practices
  • Participate in the evaluation and project prioritization process, including the development of business cases, cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and related materials
  • Create, maintain, and manage the review and approval of standard project documentation including, but not limited to: Statements of Work, Project Schedules, Technical Requirements and Specifications, Process Workflows, Test Scripts, Implementation Plans, and related documentation
  • Lead the analysis and documentation of complex process workflows, future-state conceptual system designs, user interfaces, and similar components
  • Track, monitor, and report on velocity, realized project value versus budget, and overall status for technology portfolios and assume overall delivery responsibility for a defined portfolio of projects
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, and other impediments and act as the liaison between technical and business resources to help mitigate and manage to closure
  • Advocate and observe best practices to help improve and maintain Project Management professionalism
  • Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
  • Bachelors Degree in Technology, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated Agile background and proven experience implementing Agile and/or Hybrid methodologies
  • Proven experience managing business and technical resources, including vendors and consultants
  • Advanced working knowledge of Azure DevOps with emphasis on Agile ceremonies
  • Ability to operate effectively and easily transition between strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Self-motivated leader, able to manage complex cross-functional projects with minimal direction
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proven experience preparing, presenting, and maintaining required documentation and artifacts.
  • Proven experience developing training materials and in training end-users on new procedures and applications
