The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As a Manager, Security Assurance this role will manage the Security Assurance team who coordinates various cybersecurity assessments (penetration testing, cloud security testing, Centene's cybersecurity capabilities assessments, etc.) which are required by various contracts and regulation. This function helps protect our member and provider's sensitive data.

Position Purpose:

Reduce information systems risk to the enterprise by identifying, evaluating and reporting to business owners and recommending technical, physical, and administrative controls.

Manage the activities of Security Assurance functions, including Pen Testing program, capabilities assessment and maturity, compromise assessments, security assessments, continuous monitoring and security performance reviews, vulnerability management performance reviews, and other related assurance assessments.

Ensure all processes are documented, followed, and updated regularly.

Oversee engagement planning, including scoping, rules of engagement, communications plan, deconfliction plan, reporting and other processes are utilized effectively.

Manage execution of penetration tests, including efficient resource utilization and on time delivery of high quality reports.

Establish, communicate, and periodically review/update the team's mission. This involves consultation with senior IT and cybersecurity leadership, and communication with peers in the IT and cybersecurity organizations. Ensure team is focused on the most important and impactful cybersecurity issues, while maintaining the stability of the team's objectives.

Establish and maintain a staff development plan to ensure the professional development of all team members. This plan should enable team members to grow as cybersecurity professionals, earn promotions, and take on added responsibilities.

Additionally you will bring:

Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of related IT security assurance experience required.

License/Certification:

CISSP, CISM, CRISC, OSCP, CEH or Security+ preferred
