Currently we are recruiting for a Manager or Senior manager to join the Supply Chain team in PTC.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Global Supply Chain (GSC) continuous improvement capabilities & programs, while also working on day-to-day operational management initiatives.
- This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain principles, strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Forge a seamless relationship with all applicable cross functional stakeholders in the supply chain which at a minimum includes, Planning, Inventory, Tech Ops, QA, Regulatory, Commercial & Finance partners.
- Establish standardized ways of working across the Global Supply Chain that will deliver continuous value add initiatives.
- EStablish seamless collaboration with other functional team members to drive excellence in our ways of working.
- Leads Supply Chain Process Optimization and ways of working with a focus on Performance Improvement and Operational Excellence.
- Responsible for PTC Global Supply Chain Sustainable Development project and relevant KPI’s.
- Continuously assess, identify and improve the end-to-end supply chain process, leveraging automation and data driven insights.
Operational:
- Lead on launch activities in new territories as requested and with a focus of measuring and improving distribution launch timelines. This is including but not limited to, determining requirements for importation in line with local regulations, coordinating the set ups for launch at Contract storage sites and where required working with manufacturing, regulatory and Quality assurance on any associated activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for communications and escalations with regards to supply chain issues across the network of distribution partners and customers.
- Lead and prepare regular cross-functional Supply Chain review meetings with internal and external partners (to include demand/supply reviews with commercial partners and assessment of new markets).
- Support the PTC GSC Supplier Excellence Program through process improvement and strong collaboration with external partners through business reviews and performance management.
- Lead/Support and authoring of documentation and supply chain processes in line GMP/GDP requirements
- Manage the supply and distribution of product from contract storage sites to end destinations (e.g. Hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers & distributors globally)
Requirements for the role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Operations, Global Logistics & Good Distribution Practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic SLAs, KPIs.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven track record of leveraging data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in identifying process improvements & leading initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent relationship management with internal teams & external vendors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead & motivate.
