The GTS team (Global Transaction Services) is a Financial Shared Service organization that works closely with the business to offer service excellence, agility, data-driven insights, high-value process improvements and compliance. The functional areas of scope include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Corporate Card Services and Accounts Receivable which are all supported by the Business Optimization Team.

The functional areas of scope include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Corporate Card Services and Accounts Receivable which are all supported by the Business Optimization Team.
Responsibilities
Process Optimization:
- Partner with the Sr Manager, Business Optimization for the integration of AR and AP functions/processes resulting from system implementation activities or acquisitions as outlined in the HBI Digital Roadmap
- Work with the Sr Manager, Business Optimization to manage the business process design and delivery of solutions that support the vision and strategy of GTS and HBI's Full Potential plans
- Conduct meetings with business partners for the discovery, blueprint and realization phases which include the identification of stakeholder and technical requirements
- Demonstrate a growing understanding of business processes such that suggestions for process improvements and cost savings can be made
- Create and manage test case plans, perform SIT cycles and lead UAT cycles for business users
- Promote an understanding of GTS roles, processes and activities to business partners
- Lead change management related activities including the development and delivery of training material
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors and key internal customers of both finance and other functional areas
- Ensure adherence to application security procedures, change control guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise to influence business process support for GTS functions
- Monitor Global Policies & Procedures for the Shared Services Organization
- Manage and contribute to the Integration page within the GTS team site which provides a platform for sharing and storing departmental documents for the GTS team
- Provide guidance and mentorship to GTS Analysts and GTS Specialists within the AR and AP teams
- Analyze AR and AP infrastructure/processes to identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline processes and create efficiencies
- Organize short planning sessions with GTS management to implement process improvements for the AR and AP production teams
- Organize lean events and partner with GTS business users for the purpose of identifying pain points, non-value added tasks or potential areas of risk
- Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
- Manage projects using Agile or Waterfall framework/methodology
- As time permits, develop awareness of all GTS functional areas
- Provide production support to the AR and AP production team as issues arise. This will include:
- Break-fix resolution
- Post-production project tasks during hypercare period
- Ad-hoc reporting requests
- Research on system capabilities/guidance
- Training as needed
- Submit production support tickets on behalf of GTS production teams and assist IT with issue resolution
- Maintain SAP master data tables in support of the following (AR only):
- Customer EDI remittance
- Deduction reason codes
- Dunning assignments
- Account assignments
- AP
- Maintain AP master data tables in support of the following (AP only)
- Coordinate Tax Table maintenance for COR360
- Coordinate Vendor Tax Table maintenance for COR360
Qualifications
- Required Education/Certification: Associate degree - in relevant field
- Required Years of Experience: 8+ years - AR and/or AP experience or related functional area (Customer Service, Audit- SOX controls, etc.)
- Preferred Education/Certification: Bachelor degree - in relevant field
- Preferred Years of Experience: 5+ years - HBI AR/AP experience
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise
- Demonstrated experience with Global Business Processes
- Shared Services experience in a managerial role or key individual contributor role
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (preferred)
- Conversant in the following applications:
- SAP Enterprise including AFS Industry Solution
- SAP S4 HANA (preferred)
- SAP BI
- COR360
- Power BI (preferred)
- WinShuttle (preferred)
- SharePoint
- Panaya (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Broad knowledge of finance processes across multiple sub-processes
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite as well as basic PC desktop operating systems
- Domestic and/or International travel (if required)
